During a U.S. Coronavirus Task Force briefing on Friday, Vice President Mike Pence stated that “roughly half” of the new COVID-19 cases proliferating in 16 states are Americans under the age of 35, which he said is “a good thing” as they’re less likely to become seriously ill from the virus.
