Canadian Minister Chagger announces student volunteer grant program through Oct. 31

On Thursday, Canadian Minister of Diversity and Inclusion and Youth Bardish Chagger announced a grant for post-secondary students and recent graduates across the country, providing between $1,000 and $5,000, who participate in “eligible volunteer service opportunities” from June 25 to Oct. 31. The greater the number of hours volunteered, the greater the grant amount given will be, she said.
