When asked by a reporter if this is the “right time” to roll out a new math curriculum for Ontario students as the novel coronavirus pandemic creates uncertainty for the upcoming school year, the province’s Minister of Education Stephen Lecce insisted that the province “has got to do better with the foundations of math” and that students, in future, will need that edge in the job market.
