White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany delivered on Friday a message from the U.S. President Donald Trump on Juneteenth in which he said “Juneteenth reminds us of both the unimaginable injustice of slavery and the incomparable joy that must’ve attended emancipation.” She was then asked by a journalist on Trump’s comment in a recent interview where he said “nobody ever knew about Juneteenth.”
