Bloc Québécois leader Yves-François Blanchet said on Thursday that he hopes NDP leader Jagmeet Singh will ‘sincerely apologize’ for calling a Bloc member “racist” in the House of Commons on Wednesday, and if not, he hopes the Speaker of the House will take stronger actions not to let people feel they can insult and accuse others without penalties. He also called on the media to “explain to Canadians that Bloc members are anything but racists.”
