A sheriff’s deputy in Georgia has gone viral, and provoked much social media debate, after an order mixup at a McDonald’s provoked an emotional response, heightened by the anxiety she feels amid current tensions in the United States.
Stacy Talbert, a deputy with the McIntosh County Sheriff’s Office, was on the verge of tears on June 15 as she described how she was “too nervous” to accept a food order at a McDonald’s after a long delay in its preparation.
