South Korea’s director of operation for the army’s joint chiefs of staff, Jeon Dong-Jin, said Wednesday that the country had deep concerns over announcements by the North’s military general, which said that the country would ratify military plans which “bluntly” go against past inter-Korean agreements. He said should the plans be put into action, the North would “surely pay.”
