2 companies own nearly half of the Ontario LTC homes worst hit by COVID-19

Almost a third of the Ontario nursing home residents who have died of COVID-19 were living at facilities owned by just two corporate chains, according to a Global News analysis of government statistics. As Ross Lord reports, some unions and health-care researchers say private facilities are more vulnerable to the coronavirus, while others argue there are other factors that cannot be ignored.
