June’s significant rainfall in the Okanagan has increased the water levels of Okanagan Lake but decreased the risk of forest fires

June is the wettest month of the year but this June has more than lived up to its reputation, Many parts of the Okanagan have already received an entire month’s worth of rain following this past weekend. While the rain is good news on the fire front, it’s led to Okanagan Lake creeping up more than anticipated. Klaudia Van Emmerik reports.
