On Sunday, U.S. President Donald Trump tweeted he would not watch National Football League (NFL) or U.S. Soccer games if players kneel during the national anthem. It comes after the U.S. Soccer Federation said it was dropping the requirement that players stand during the anthem. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell also said this month that the league made mistakes in not listening to players and denounced racism in the country.
