Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer was asked to comment on RCMP commissioner Brenda Lucki’s statement that she struggles “to define systemic racism” in the RCMP by saying there is a huge backlog of complaints against the RCMP in this regard and “Trudeau’s government has done nothing to clear that backlog” for years. Scheer added that if Trudeau is admitting there is systemic racism in the RCMP then he must take responsibility and act to address it.
