Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi responded to a question on Thursday about whether Confederate symbols should be removed from the U.S. Capitol building and military bases by saying if she had more authority “we would have fewer of those statues around.” Pelosi added “the American people know these names of White Supremacists have to go, and Trump seems to be the only one left who doesn’t get it.”
