Trudeau says people with disabilities ‘deeply disappointed’ by failure of the House to vote on CERB changes

Promised COVID-19 aid benefits for Canadians with disabilities, along with other measures, are now in limbo after opposition parties refused to give the required unanimous consent to pass the Trudeau government’s latest emergency
legislation. Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau put the blame squarely on the Conservatives, saying they alone blocked progress towards passage of a bill to help Canadians with disabilities.
