U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced during a media briefing on Thursday that the U.S. is authorizing the imposition of economic sanctions on International Criminal Court (ICC) officials directly engaged in an ICC investigation into U.S. personnel or allied personnel. He also announced the extending and expanding of visa restrictions on the same ICC officials and their family members.
