George Floyd death: Houston mayor says city to ban chokeholds

Speaking at George Floyd’s funeral on Tuesday, Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner said that he’ll be signing an executive order that will ban chokeholds and strangleholds in the city. Floyd, an unarmed Black man, died on Memorial Day in police custody after an officer kneeled on his neck until he was unresponsive.
