When asked what the “tipping point” would be to introduce legislation to ban some commercial evictions amid the coronavirus pandemic, Ontario Premier Doug Ford said on Monday that his approach is still for landlords and tenants to work together, and that the eviction ban is geared to landlords who are “coming down heavy” on smaller businesses.
