On Monday, World Health Organization (WHO) director-general Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said the organization continues “to urge active surveillance” of COVID-19 cases as mass gatherings of protests against anti-Black racism take place worldwide. Tedros urged those attending protests to do so safely by wearing a face mask and trying to keep distance from others.
