Former U.S. Secretary of State and chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Colin Powell endorsed former vice-president and Democratic nominee Joe Biden for president on Sunday, becoming the first major Republican to publicly back Donald Trump’s rival. Powell said Trump posed a danger to the country and its democracy in his opinion.
