The flag of North Carolina which flew over the state capitol on June 3 was given to the family of George Floyd, a Black man who died on Memorial Day while in police custody, during a memorial in the state on Saturday. The Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina also delivered a proclamation during the memorial, saying they stand in solidarity with the family.
