Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown held a press conference on Friday regarding an incident involving two Buffalo police officers caught on camera violently shoving an elderly man to the ground. Brown said the man had been “asked to leave numerous times” from the area because of the city’s curfew, and that he does not wish for the officers to be fired, but that there be an investigation. Two officers have since been charged in relation with the incident on Saturday. Robert McCabe and Aaron Torgalski, who surrendered Saturday morning, pleaded not guilty to charges of second-degree assault.
