Ontario Premier Doug Ford was asked on Friday to comment on the anti-racism protests which took place in various Canadian cities including Toronto, and said he always encourages peaceful and safe protests “but emphasizes the word peaceful.” Ford also commented on Toronto Police Chief Mark Saunders kneeling in front of protesters saying “man, that was impactful.”
