Speaking to reporters outside the White House on Friday morning, U.S. President Donald Trump said “I love it!” when discussing how effective the deployment of National Guard troops has been in responding to nights of violent protests in Minneapolis, MN. The protests began after George Floyd, and unarmed Black man, was killed on Memorial Day after a white police officer knelt on his neck for several minutes.
