BLM vigil organizer says people in Kingston black community deal with racism regularly

A nationwide call for justice for George Floyd has raised more awareness on racism. Floyd is the 46 year-old Black man who was killed in Minneapolis after a white police officer was filmed kneeling on his neck during an arrest. The video of his death sparked outrage across the globe, which has incited protests and vigils across the country, including in Kingston, Ont.
