World Health Organization (WHO) director-general Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said on Wednesday that the WHO decided to resume its trial on hydroxychloroquine after the Data Safety and Monitoring Committee reviewed the trial data and recommended that there are no reasons to modify the trial protocol.
