When responding to a question regarding NDP leader Jagmeet Singh’s call for specific measures to combat racism in Canada, Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland on Wednesday said that it is important to “take this moment” to look at what the government can do, adding that “there can’t be any tolerance for racism or bias” in any police force within the country.
