Ontario Premier Doug Ford on Wednesday walked back earlier comments that Canada doesn’t have the same “systemic, deep roots” of racism as the U.S., stating in the Ontario Legislature that while there is systemic racism in Canada he doesn’t “know the hardships” faced by minority communities.
