A transport truck driver was taken to hospital following a two vehicle crash east of Peterborough Tuesday night. Emergency crews responded to the collision at Villiers Line and County Rd. 2 at about 8:30 p.m. Witnesses say a car travelling south on Villiers Line collided with the truck travelling east on County Rd. 2. The crash caused the truck to roll into a nearby field. The driver had to be cut from the vehicle by firefighters.
