George Floyd protests: Trump says he will deploy military if governors can’t quell violent protests

U.S. President Trump addressed the nation on Monday amid violent protests throughout the country sparked by the death of George Floyd. Trump said he is strongly suggesting that governors make full use of their National Guard units, or else Trump said he would deploy U.S. military forces to stop all violent protests and enforce local curfews.
