Coronavirus outbreak: Ontario extends ban on power disconnections for residential customers until end of July

Ontario Premier Doug Ford announced on Monday the extension of ban on power disconnections for residential customers until July 31, and introduced a new payment assistance program which will provide support for low-income families struggling to pay their electricity bills with a one-time payment to cover electricity debts incurred during the COVID-19 period.
