Tickets handed out at Cobourg beach

Cobourg police and bylaw officers handed out several tickets to visitors to Victoria Park and the beach yesterday.
Those tickets included a $105 fine for having a dog on the beach and a $250 fine for defecating in the park. Officers also issues a number of warning to cyclists riding along the boardwalk and to those who had tents on the beach, while one bylaw officer warned a group bringing a large, inflatable boat onto the beach about the area’s strong off-shore breeze.
