U.S. President Donald Trump said on Friday he spoke with members of George Floyd’s family, and has asked the Department of Justice to expedite the federal investigation into his death. Trump also commented on protests happening in Minneapolis, Minn. following the death of Floyd by saying “it’s very important that we have peaceful protesters and support the rights for peaceful protesters.”
