At his weekly COVID-19 briefing, Vancouver Mayor Kennedy Stewart calls on third-party delivery apps like Skip the Dishes and Door Dash to do their part to help keep restaurants and cafes afloat during these “unprecedented times.” The BC Restaurant and Foodservices Association has asked the apps to temporarily reduce their fees to 15 percent, down from 20 percent, during the pandemic.
