Plans by the Canadian Canoe Museum to begin construction of a new facility at the Liftlock hit a snag

Environmental testing at the Liftlock revealed industrial solvent in the ground water which would have to be addressed if construction is to go forward. But authorities with the museum say while they will build a new facility on the water in Peterborough, it doesn’t have to be at the Liftlock
