Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau co-hosted a major United Nations conference Thursday, alongside the Prime Minister of Jamaica and the Secretary-General of the UN. During his remarks to the meeting, Trudeau called the deployment of troops to long-term care homes in his country a “stopgap” measure, not a long-term solution.
