A Maple Ave. home in Norwood was destroyed by a fire Wednesday night.
Firefighters were called to the area shortly after 10 p.m.
All three residents were able to escape safely, along with a dog. A cat is still unaccounted for.
Two neighbouring homes were also evacuated after being damaged by flames. So far the cause of the blaze hasn’t been determined. The Ontario Fire Marshal’s office is expected to be on scene Thursday (May 28) to investigate.
