Chief says officers’ actions ‘in no way reflect’ culture he wants to see at Minneapolis Police Department

Asked to address comments from Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey that he’d like the arresting officer implicated in the death of George Floyd to face charges, Minneapolis Police Chief Medaria Arradondo said the actions of the four officers fired following the incident “in no way reflect” the values and culture he’d like to see at the Minneapolis Police Department.
