Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau committed to put in place a guaranteed 10-day paid sick leave for all Canadian workers during Monday’s Question Period after a proposal by the NDP earlier in May. Trudeau said his government is working with provinces “without delay” to ensure access to 10-day paid sick leave for workers amid the pandemic.
