House of Commons Government Leader Pablo Rodríguez laid out the Liberal government’s proposal on Monday on the extension of sittings for the Special Committee on COVID-19, to meet four days a week in the House. This was done as the House debated on reconvening in-person sittings amid the pandemic. Part of the proposal was to have a “hybrid” format to let Members of Parliament who can’t come to Ottawa physically attend the committee meeting virtually.
