The worldwide health care crisis caused by the coronavirus has even affected how volunteers picked up assistance dogs in training. A litter of eight Golden Retriever puppies were ready to start their Pacific Assistance Dog (PADS) training today, but physical distancing measures meant the pick up was done “drive-thru style.”
