Deputy Chief Public Health Officer of Canada Dr. Howard Njoo told reporters Friday that in his opinion, it was not the place of public health officials to tell parliamentarians how to best make Parliament function to serve Canadians – rather, they will offer the best health advice and guidelines for those politicians to help inform their decision-making.
