Coronavirus outbreak: Trudeau says Canadians want a ‘functioning parliament’

Speaking outside Rideau Cottage in Ottawa on Friday, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said discussions are “ongoing” with other parties about how to keep Canada’s House of Commons open, while respecting COVID-19 public health recommendations, into the coming weeks.
