Ontario’s chief medical officer of health on Thursday addressed Premier Doug Ford’s comments earlier regarding not testing children before returning to school, saying the incidence of COVID-19 in children remains very low, but said there would be several considerations needed to take into account such as parental consent, proper staffing and a child’s mental health.
