U.S. President Donald Trump criticized a Columbia University study, which found through infectious-disease modelling that earlier measures on physical distancing could have potentially saved up to 54,000 if implemented two weeks earlier. The President called the study a “political hit job” owing to the fact that the school was “very liberal.”
