President Trump’s claim he is taking the anti-malaria drug hydroxychloroquine — even though he’s tested negative for COVID-19 — is sending the wrong message to the public, says University of Alberta health policy law expert Timothy Caulfield. He said when leaders go against scientific data, it can have serious health policy ramifications and also lead to confusion.
