New York Governor Andrew Cuomo on Tuesday welcomed news about a vaccine under development for the novel coronavirus but warned that preparations needed to be made so that distribution of any vaccine is equitable without regard for wealth. He said “It can’t be a situation where only the rich, only the privileged can get the vaccine because one company owns the rights and they can’t produce enough for everyone.”
