While speaking with reporters on Monday, U.S. President Trump revealed that he has been taking Hydroxycholorquine as a prophylactic for the coronavirus for the last couple of weeks. Although it is not yet a proven treatment, he said he had heard a lot of good things about it and claimed lot’s of frontline workers are also taking it. He added the drug has been around for about 40 years and has been used to treat malaria, lupus, and arthritis.
