World Health Organization (WHO) director-general Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus promised during the world health assembly on Monday that an independent evaluation into its handling of the coronavirus response would be launched as soon as possible. He pledged it would be transparent and provide recommendations for future preparedness.
