City of Kelowna considers closing some downtown streets to cars to help struggling restaurants cerate or expand outdoor patio space

It’s an idea that’s worked for many European cities…. And now it’s being considered as a solution to help re-open Kelowna restaurants during the pandemic. The city is actively exploring closing down some downtown streets to allow restaurants more capacity to operate while still adhering to social distancing guidelines. Klaudia Van Emmerik reports.
