U.S. secretary of health and human services said on Thursday that Dr. Rick Bright’s “literally signed the application for an FDA authorization of Hydroxychloroquine and was the sponsor of it, so his allegations do not hold water.” The House Committee on Energy and Commerce health subcommittee heard from Bright on Thursday, the federal scientist and whistleblower who pushed back against President Donald Trump’s endorsement of Hydroxychloroquine to treat the coronavirus.
