During a press conference on Wednesday, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo warned of an economic stimulus bills coming out of Washington D.C. that only take the interests large corporations and “millionaires” into account, and could use the coronavirus pandemic as “an excuse” to lay off workers. Cuomo cautioned that U.S. lawmakers must not give corporate giveaways that could lead to these layoffs.
